In case you have a Court Fine to pay
There are several payments that can be made via the government’s online page: http://www.direct.gov.uk. These include among others the payment for services relating justice and court proceedings. You can now pay for any court and tribunal service fine through the internet. Other payments such us those for compensation, costs and maintenance orders can also be made via the same website.
In case you have a Court Fine to pay, you will need the division number and the fine account number, both of which are indicated on your copy of the Notice of Fine. Below you shall find simple steps to help you in making you payment on the internet or via the phone.
If you are on the homepage of the the http://www.direct.gov.uk. Website, click on ‘Crime and Justice’ link. It will open the Crime and Justice page.
Under the Sentencing and Prison section, find and click the ‘Sentencing’ link. On the Sentencing page, click the ‘Court Fines’ link which will take you to the ‘Pay your Court Fine online now’ page.
Locate the pay your ‘Court Fine online now using a credit or debit card’ link and click it. Fill in the Court fine Notice details in the Fine Account Details section and click on the Make Payment link to proceed.
Confirm the Court Fine details then click on Confirm and Pay link.
Fill in the card details or your credit or debit card and your own personal details and then click ‘Submit Payment’ link.
